>>> LATEST FLIGHT REGULATION <<< (valid from November 8th, 2021)

>>> Current rules and situation in the Montafon <<<

Due to the dynamic occurrence of infections and the associated increase in hospitalized COVID-19 patients, the measures of levels 2, 3 and 4 apply from today. Wherever 3-G was previously applicable, only vaccinated and recovered people have access.

This applies to:

  • body-hugging services gastronomy, night-time gastronomy, hotels and similar settings the cultural sector (theaters, cinemas and operas, but not museums)
  • Sports and leisure facilities (this also applies to ski areas) Visits to hospitals and old people’s and nursing homes, except for visits as part of palliative and hospice support or support during childbirth.
  • An FFP2 mask must also be worn in closed rooms. All measures are listed on the website of the Ministry of Social Affairs. In addition, an FAQ with the applicable measures has already been compiled.
  • The most important questions are answered there. How long the 2-G measures will apply cannot currently be estimated; this primarily depends on the development of the intensive care bed occupancy rate.
  • However, a transition period of four weeks has been introduced for the 2-G certificate.
  • During this period, the first vaccination in combination with a PCR test serves as proof of entry - so there is no need for full immunization during the transition period. In addition, the validity of the vaccination certificates is now set to nine months from the date of full immunization (instead of the previous 12 months). After that, another dose (usually the third one) is required for a valid certificate; there will be a transition period of three weeks.
